We like happy dogs but we prefer happy educated dogs. Obedience training is one of the most responsible things you can do for your dog. Training may not solve all behavior problems but we believe it is the foundation for solving many issues.
Similar to people, not all dogs are the same and we understand this. That is why we use several different types of training methods and tools depending on the individual dog's needs.
We offer private in-home training and one-on-one service. We work with you and your dog at your home, in your neighborhood and will address any specific issues you may be currently experiencing.
If you cannot be present during regularly scheduled training sessions we will train your dog for you and make arrangements to teach you proper handling and management, later, at your convenience.
Sessions are usually held once a week but intensive training is available depending on your dog's specific needs and/or your personal preference. The number of total lessons depends on each individual dog. Our training program requires the owner work with the dog at least 5-15 minutes every day to maintain a proper training relationship.

Dealing with manners and behavior:
* biting
* mouthing
* jumping up
This training is worked on-leash. Basic obedience training is the foundation to eventually achieve off- leash training.

At this phase the training is mostly worked on-leash but under distractions. Achieving a reliable off-leash training requires some maturity from your dog and some handler skills from the owner.

* sit
* sit/stay (with distractions and for longer periods of time)
* down
* down/stay (with distractions and for longer periods of time)
* come

* reinforcement of the wait command
Training is off-leash and the goal is that by the end of the phase you'll have a well behaved and reliable companion under distractions.
* heel without leash
* figure 8
* sit
* sit/stay with owner's absence
* down
* down/stay with owner's absence

"For anyone looking to seriously improve the relationship with their family pet, or, to explore the world of high level competitive dog sport."
"For over 20 years I've been training and competing in multiple dog sports Regionally and Nationally. Adrian Centeno has been the best training director I've had to help me accomplish my personal training goals. His soft hand and voice make direction for myself and dogs a breath of fresh air allowing us the ability to learn at our own pace. Also, the fact that Adrian is open to working with all breed types is a bonus in my book! Adrian is also one of the few honest trainers I've ever known. I would trust him with my dogs anytime!"
