We like happy dogs but we prefer happy educated dogs. Obedience training is one of the most responsible things you can do for your dog. Training may not solve all behavior problems but we believe it is the foundation for solving many issues.

Similar to people, not all dogs are the same and we understand this. That is why we use several different types of training methods and tools depending on the individual dog's needs.

We offer private in-home training and one-on-one service. We work with you and your dog at your home, in your neighborhood and will address any specific issues you may be currently experiencing.

If you cannot be present during regularly scheduled training sessions we will train your dog for you and make arrangements to teach you proper handling and management, later, at your convenience.

Sessions are usually held once a week but intensive training is available depending on your dog's specific needs and/or your personal preference. The number of total lessons depends on each individual dog. Our training program requires the owner work with the dog at least 5-15 minutes every day to maintain a proper training relationship.

Testimonials

→ Leri Hanson - Knock-Out Kennels

"For anyone looking to seriously improve the relationship with their family pet, or, to explore the world of high level competitive dog sport."

"For over 20 years I've been training and competing in multiple dog sports Regionally and Nationally. Adrian Centeno has been the best training director I've had to help me accomplish my personal training goals. His soft hand and voice make direction for myself and dogs a breath of fresh air allowing us the ability to learn at our own pace. Also, the fact that Adrian is open to working with all breed types is a bonus in my book! Adrian is also one of the few honest trainers I've ever known. I would trust him with my dogs anytime!"

→ Anne Roberts
"Just want to say a huge thank you for the wonderful classes.Tim and I have had a great time being retrained about dogs, Rex has benefited greatly!! it is abundantly clear that this is a calling for you, not a job, your insight and the benefit of years of experience really make it a privilege to take the classes from you!"
→ Brenda Arao
"I drive across 2 counties to train my dog w/Adrian. Not only has he helped me & my dog become a better working team, but he has proven himself to me, to be a reliable and honest trainer. If it's a better behaved dog that you want, then I would highly recommend Adrian for the task."
→ Beth Jones
"Honest, reliable, trustworthy and fair only begins to discribe Adrian Centeno. I have found no other trainer has the same natural ablity to unlock a dog's true potential. I swear that he is the closest thing to a dog whisper that I have ever seen. Where other trainers have failed to help my dogs, Adrian quickly helps my dogs find the solution to become my superstars. Most important factor for me, my dogs truely adore Adrian. Very few trainers have both the natural and acquired ability to successful find the solutions to allow a dog to excel past it's natural abilities. Adrian Centeno has the rare talent to become both the dog's friend, sourse of strength, and guide into unlocking the dog's true potential. Not my trainers have both the instinct, heart, and knowledge to train and find success with the a less respected, slightly more difficult, or less popular breeds. Thru the years of searching for both the perfect dog, training decoys, and trainer, it seems that I saved the best for last. I am quite willing to drive over 2.5 hours to work with Adrian. I have not seen his equal and my dogs quite agree."

"I have been training with Adrian for about a year and a half, and he has helped me turn my crazy dutchie into the best sport dog I have ever had or will have. He can read dogs and apply the right training method for each dog, whether soft or hard. I am thankful to be able to work with Adrian and learn from him. I also trust him to take the leash from me anytime."
→ Al Irwin
"Adrian was so great with my 6 month old lab and was professional, a great teacher, and such a nice person! We had gone through the basic puppy training at our local pet food store(6 weeks of one hour group sessions) and that had helped with basics like sit and stay but we had problems walking him on the leash and getting him to be more obedient."
→ Devell Chambliss
"Adrian Centeno is a great trainer, a great teacher and a great person to be around. He is very easy to work with and is a very entertaining person".
